An international Biotechnology & Bioinformatics Company is currently looking to recruit a Business Development Associate for the BioNutrition(B2B) market.
This organisation focuses on the convergence between food, pharmaceutical and clinical genomics leading to preventive personalised medicine. This expanding business is now looking to recruit a Business Development Associate and future Head for the BioNutrition(B2B) side of the business in Europe.

The Business Development Associate will oversee efforts in partnering and / or out-licensing products and technology developed by the company and in-licensing products and technologies that fit strategic and development objectives.
Aspects of the job:
- Monitoring of competitive developments and apprise senior management of business related issues that may affect the companies' competitive position
- Participate in the formulation, evaluation and implementation of business strategies and objectives for the company which shall include all elements related to developing, manufacturing, commercialising, and financing.
- Coordinate company participation, exhibitions and presentations at industry events.
The successful candidate will have Business Development Experience in food / nutrition, health / cosmetics, biotech and/or Pharmaceutical environment. In addition you will have an understanding of the dynamics of the FMCG space, as well as hands-on experience in valuing, negotiating and closing technology and product deals. - Please provide a demonstrable Deal Sheet alongside your CV.
It is also essential that you are educated to at least Degree level in a relevant area, and have a strong scientific/technical background - knowledge of nutrition, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, natural product drug discovery is required (knowledge of in vivo and in vitro testing and clinical trials appreciated).
Candidates should be located around the Cambridge area, or willing to relocate there. In addition you must be flexible when it comes to travel through Europe on a regular basis, and also occasionally further afield.
The Basic Salary offered for the position of Business Development Associate will be 30-45K (depending on experience) + Performance related Bonus + Car Allowance, International Travel, Pension Scheme, Private Health Care, Holiday, Possibility of Stock options
