Our client, a leading events management company based in Bristol - has an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking a challenging career, to join their dynamic Sales and Installation Team.

Job Role / Responsibilities

•Client liaison / Project Management in relation to Technical installations on multiple projects simultaneously, from small single day installations to complete new build projects.

•Utilising your expertise and interpersonal skills you will work closely with existing clients and develop new business, establishing their requirements and delivering detailed technical proposals.

•Effective processing of installation projects, provide job progress reports to the Director and attend site meetings as and when required.

•You will direct and coordinate all activities within the Sales / Installation Department to achieve goals and objectives

•Deal with all aspects of the financial management of your projects including invoicing and variations, ensuring that the company is not financially exposed.

•Equipment ordering and managing stock for Installations

•Liaise with suppliers to research product information.

•Recommend and implement new strategies for improved service and reduced costs.

•Keep up to date with new technology within the AV industry

•Implementation of the install practices and procedures, vetting of your sub-contractors / Freelancers to ensure they follow and adhere to Company procedures.

•Develop an internal install team to reduce reliance on sub contractors / Freelancers, in line with work load and forecasted growth.

•Ensure that the Health & Safety files are in place for your projects and that safe systems of work are put in place.

•Provide instant reporting to Senior Management / Directors as required.


Key Skills

•Well presented confident, highly organised, self motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic.
•Possess a good underpinning technical knowledge of Electronics and Audio Visual Systems.
•A proven track record and experience in a similar role.
•An understanding of contracts and commercial processes
•Good communication skills both verbal and written, being able to communicate with company executives to building contractors
•Ability to plan and organise projects and schedule work; to prioritize and work under pressure is essential.
•Organised and flexible with the ability to approach different types of tasks during the working day.
•Able to work as part of a team.
•Ability to read wiring schematics / diagrams
•Represent the company at a senior level with the necessary level of professional conduct and presentation.
•A current driving license is essential.

You will be required to work under your own initiative and be prepared for the demanding hours that this type of job sometimes requires.
