Description		Customer Adviser Required (Building Society) Customer Adviser Required! Our client, a well-known high street Building Society is seeking a Customer Adviser to work in their busy branch. This role includes an excellent benefits package and great career opportunities. The Role As Customer Adviser you will be responsible for providing first class customer service whilst achieving sales targets. Main activities include: - Generating and following through sales opportunities (personal calls and by telephone). - Keeping up to date with product knowledge and market developments. - Ensuring you perform all cash and banking transactions quickly and accurately. - To organise referrals to Financial Services Advisors in respect of regulated products and referrals to Branch Manager in respect of mortgage and non-investment insurance products. The Person The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, previous customer service experience (ideally gained in retail, sales or financial services environment), possess an ability to build customer loyalty and generate fresh business opportunities. You will need to be a team player as you will be working to achieve branch sales targets. Good accuracy, numeracy and IT skills are essential together with a flexible attitude to working outside normal hours should the need arise.
