Salary of circa £24k+ basic + good commission structure ( £12k ) , thus a realistic and achievable OTE of £36k , + company car and other benefits .

Covering primarily East Midlands , and M1 corridor from Birmingham to Sheffield.

Job description:

Area Sales Manager / Field Sales Executive , required for an Independent Timber Merchant , who are a supplier of Quality panel products to a range of customers including shopfitters, Exhibition , Joinery , Kitchen and Furniture trades .

Your role will be to manage an Area from Birmingham to Sheffield, including Derbyshire , Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire, with a mixture of Area / Field sales , Account Management and New Business Development.

You will be responsible for both managing existing accounts and developing new contacts and leads ,building relationships and developing these relationships through to securing new business and closing the sale.

Skills / Experience;
You will have previous Field sales experience ideally in the Timber industry , however related trade experience would also be considered.
Previous Field Sales experience and business development experience.
Knowledge of Field sales in the Derbyshire / Leicestershire / Nottinghamshire / East Midlands area.
Ability to work in a high pressure sales driven environment
Commercially aware.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Good communication skills.
Professional appearance with strong presentation skills.
Organised , disciplined and self motivated.
Energetic and driven , with a personality which opens doors.
