Our client is one of the leading training organisations in the UK. They have been trading since 1965 and are one of the largest in the sector - in the last 10 years they have trained over 200,000 people.

ACCOUNT MANAGER (For large NVQ Training Provider)

RESPONSIBLE TO: SALES MANAGER or REGIONAL DIRECTOR.

RESPONSIBILITY:
To liaise with the Sales Manager to maximise
the profitability of the centre.
To achieve a minimum of 2 Apprenticeship starts per week plus other
starts as required.
To develop employer vacancies in line with employer recruitment
strategy.
To ensure the accurate and timely production of internal reports
relating to employer, sales and marketing.
To ensure the completeness of employer files.
To ensure employer Health and Safety appraisals are up to date.
To ensure that agreed budget of learners are placed with paying
employers.
Implement Regional Pricing Policy.
To contact relevant employers re non payment of invoices if employers
have not paid after 60 days (TBA by administrator).
Deliver IAG for clients so as to promote the benefits of learning, help
individuals and companies overcome barriers to learning and support
them in making realistic and well informed choices.
To maintain a high profile with employers via regular telephone calls,
face to face visits, mail shots and conducting Training and Needs
Analysis.
To create an employer bank by identifying new employers within the
Centre catchment area via telesales and mail shots follow-up to
convert into business at the rate of 1 new employer per week and 1
major employer per month.

To visit potential employers to explain portfolio of training
with the aim of obtaining agreement to become part of the employer
bank
To organise advertising for and recruitment of school leavers
periodically in line with centre requirements.
To ensure that agreed budget of learners are placed with paying
employers leading to the achievement of Registration and Certification
Charge as a minimum.
To have responsibility for learners staying for the first 6 weeks after
sign-up procedure.
To ensure all employers/ relevant Line Managers have a copy and
understand the Employer Pack.
To ensure the achievement of the commercial budget (non government
funded learners).
To ensure company strategy regarding employer information is
initiated and implemented.
To liaise and cooperate with other members of staff to achieve
maximum efficiency and use of resources.
To liaise with external agencies as required, to include schools,
Connexions, brokers, Colleges, other training providers and the LSC.
To assist when necessary in duties not directly connected with
employer sales, which could include; general admin, attendance at
exhibitions/conventions, tutoring as and when required.
To fully co-operate with the company in implementing its policy for
Equality and Diversity.
To familiarise yourself with the company Health and Safety policy.

Must have Health and Safety qualification or be willing to study towards.
Must have driving license and own car as role involves travelling to various sites
