Territory Sales Manager, South of England

Salary c £40K basic (OTE £57K) + Car, Pension, Private Health Insurance etc.

Our client, a European market leader in the field of adhesives (typical applications are in the construction-allied wood-working/cladding industries) is looking to appoint a manager operating from a home-base to represent its interests in the Southern half of the UK (basically the West Midlands and all points south).

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business to business industrial sales, preferably within a construction related business.
• Knowledge of the wood-working and cladding side of the construction and shop-fitting industries.
• Good knowledge of hot-melt and water-based adhesive technologies and applications.
• A relevant degree or equivalent is preferable but not essential if all the other qualities are in place.
• A high degree of business savoir-faire to influence and gain support from all levels of the current and potential customer base.
• Ability to demonstrate personal experience and involvement in business growth within construction or analogous industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PC literacy with the Windows suite of software.
• The ability to rapidly assimilate and communicate on technical matters relating to the adhesives and construction industries.
