Internal Sales Consultant required to identify opportunities and develop new business for the company, through conversion of internal leads and cold calling from databases and various trade publications. The role is office based and in Blackpool, Lancashire.
Main functions of the position:
-Work towards daily, weekly and monthly targets as agreed with Director
-Ensure that any leads passed or generated are followed through to conclusion within company guidelines
-Identify sectors and companies within these sectors who would benefit from a call handling service
-Cold call various sized businesses over the telephone, researching their current arrangements for call handling, and selling the features and benefits of First Call Business Communications
-Report on the competition and have a good knowledge of
-Ensure compliance with organisational policies and procedures
-Ensure that client requirements are understood and met within profitability requirements
-Produce monthly sales report in line with expectations
-All call statistics to be recorded accurately and reported on a monthly basis
-In addition to these functions employees are required to carry out such other duties as deemed reasonably be required

Track record of success demonstrating experience in:
-Able to work autonomously

-Must be target driven and customer focused
-Excellent communication and organisational skills
-Able to recognise and generate sales
-Develop sales pipelines
-Good degree of IT literacy
-Managing prospects expectations
-Preparing and writing reports
