Fareham Hampshire 2. Crawley Sussex circa £20k - £22k basic ote £35k plus car allowance, pension, healthcare.

Planned repairs and refurbishment includes long term framework contracts in the affordable housing sector, education, public building and commercial sectors.
• Response maintenance covers small scale, high volume repairs and maintenance delivered largely by our directly employed technicians

Role: Local Customer and Sales Leader / Field sales executive
Increase and maintain a pipeline of desirable work in given geography to achieve agreed turnover & profit targets, through direct contact with customers
Service: Customer champions who deliver the company customer strategy, brand promise and the service standards from ‘first impressions’ to ‘after-care’. Acquire and retain customers in order to create a continuous pipeline of work to deliver business targets. Focus is on supporting customer relationship management, winning new and continued business and building profitable, long-term customer relationships. As The Nation’s Local Builder™, engage with the local communities in which we work to promote awareness of the company, its vision, values and services. Give something back through targeted charity and sponsorship events.
Context: Our client aims to become ‘The Nation’s Local Builder™’ by operating from a network of offices in major towns across the UK, using dedicated teams who live and work in their communities.
Key Objectives/ Accountabilities:
• Pipeline - Increase our pipeline potential & secured workload in Maintenance and Build through direct sales calls to customers and consultants (key focus: new customers)
• Market Research - with the local team develop an intrinsic understanding of the local market - incl. size, value, sectors, growth areas, competitors etc and identify the target customers aligned to the agreed criteria/ capability
• Lead Validation & Tracking - Co-ordination of leads and opportunities through new pipeline sources (i.e. ABI, Supply2gov, Council websites), existing customers, local press etc. Manage & track through the CRM database
• Sector Campaigns - Targeted direct sales campaigns to raise awareness of the company brand and our integrated offer (i.e. Schools, Care-homes, Property Managers etc). Manage, monitor and report through the CRM database
• Local Customer Plans - Create and maintain a local dynamic sales plan in conjunction with the local leadership team. Allocate key account management responsibilities - review and monitor on a monthly basis
• Customer Delight Index - Obtain customer feedback on local work, for target customers to capitalise on anticipated spend, further sales opportunities and competitor information (plus achieve local office KPI targets)
Experience:
• Direct, face-to-face sales experience
• Business development - a track record of sustainable sales growth, through targeted customer calls/ meetings
• Key account management - experience in a customer relationship management role
• Lead validation - data mining, prospecting, lead management and tracking through to secured workload
• Good understanding of customer service levels and key performance indicators
• Some experience of customer delight measures and feedback processes
Skills:
Essential

• Articulate and well presented (with good presentation skills)
• Ability to negotiate, build and manage customer relationships
• Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills
• A highly motivated team player with a proactive approach to work
• Ability to work on own initiative with good planning/ organisation skills (time management/ workload prioritisation)
• Full clean driving licence and own vehicle (car allowance provided)
Desirable
• Interest/ experience in Building or DIY
• Experience of CRM database systems
• IT literate - particularly Microsoft Powerpoint for presentations and Excel for reports
