You will be working with procurement professionals within these clients ranging from finance directors to buyers to facilities managers.
The majority of these contracts are awarded via formal tender processes or e-auctions. As a result you will be responsible for all stages of the contract award from completion of all tender documents, effective & accurate pricing and presentation of market leading propositions.
This is a superb opportunity for someone with Account Management experience and superb new business skills used to very large deals winning key accounts especially in the Government sector.
We are looking for an Account Manager to develop and win additional business opportunities within London and the South East.
Responsibilities and Tasks :
Main Contacts ? All existing and new nominated Government prospects, Sector Directors, Technical Support and Tender Bid Team; to help them understand strategies and maximize opportunity creation.
To project manage any tenders/implementation programme that results from sales made into the list of nominated accounts or as requested by the Contract Manager / Sector Sales Manager and Sector Director.
To create prospects within the nominated account lists in order to achieve Pay Plan and grade targets. Provide account details as necessary.
Sell and demonstrate all products to new and existing customers within selected accounts and territory to include all solutions propositions in line with the Pay Plan.
To secure via the tender process funding to win new customers and to focus on achieving market share at break-even profitability.
