The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established IT solutions specialist across a range of market sectors, selling leading IT hardware, software, peripherals and bespoke solutions. As an Internal Sales executive, your role will be to proactively sell the company’s IT solutions direct to end users. You will make outbound calls to develop new business and uncover new opportunities to sell whole solutions, which could comprise of a new server for a business, an entire ICT suite for a school, a new accounting software package for a local government department or network security for a hospital- there really are few limits to the opportunities that you can pursue. Much of your time will be spent on the telephone, achieving key performance indicators agreed with the Sales Manager, including closing new business deals and helping the company achieve its targets in line with their business plan. You will sell in a highly professional and consultative way, adding to the company’s culture of customer service and exceeding expectations. Success in this role will bring great reward, not just in financial terms, but also career development with added responsibility and autonomy.
Basic Salary £15k-£20k p.a. + £uncapped commission giving high OTE + bonus + career progression opportunities.
Your Skills, Qualities and Achievements
To succeed in this role, you will need to be an accomplished internal sales professional with a proven track record of success. A background in selling IT is essential, such as networking solutions, hardware sales, software sales, network security, managed service agreements or similar. Ideally, you will understand the whole sales and implementation process, from generating a lead, to taking orders and specifications, then ensuring delivery and client satisfaction. Must be able to perform under pressure and have a sense of urgency, ambition and competitiveness. A proven track-record of exceeding sales targets in internal IT sales is essential. Must be based in, or within a reasonable commuting distance of Staffordshire.
