Business Development Executive – Swindon, Reading, Oxfordshire - £25,000 basic, OTE £40,000 plus car and excellent benefits

Stable cash rich organisation that are looking to grow through their sales team which they are increasing in size in March and April and are looking to grow even further over the next 18months.
Already turning over 460 million and backed by a global group this company have their sights set on the no.1 spot in the UK. This fantastic company are looking for dynamic, stable, Field Sales people in 3 areas of the UK to increase the turnover of their business in 2010 and beyond. Originally founded and owned by one man this company has grown year on year since the early 80’s. With an excellent reputation and a desire to improve and avoid standing still, these sales roles are a breath of fresh air in the current climate!


Field Sales role details -

• Classic field sales position selling a product / solution into all types of business from business with company cars to independent oil distributors and garages
• Business to business sales generating your own appointments on a designated patch
• Targeted on revenue you will be report to the Sales Manager for the area
• Cold calling & managing your own leads. Identifying decision makers & closing business
• 1 day admin and lead generation and 4 days out on patch – Berks, Bucks, Gloucs
• Varying average order value & sales cycle from 1 day close to pipeline management


Essential requirements to be the successful business development executive:

• Strong background in business to business field sales experience and success
• Proof of success in previous field sales role.
• Energy, enthusiasm, genuine drive and a very professional approach
• Based in the Near the M4 and the M40 and with easy access to Berks, Bucks and Gloucestershire.
• Not afraid to cold call and generate new business, face to face and over the phone
• Consultative approach having previously sold a solution into businesses
• Target orientated, money hungry sales person with a competitive streak

Bonus experience would be: Oil industry or fuel card experience, selling into councils or oil distributors, consultative sales background, blue chip structured sales training.


Package:

• £25,000 basic salary (no more – no less)
• 1st year OTE £35,000-£40,000
• 2nd year OTE £40,000 plus
• Company car, diesel, Focus/Golf.
• Mobile and expenses
• Industry training and a long stable career
