Pitney Bowes International Mailing Services –Business Development Manager
The Role
Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager this position is focusing on new business wins and account management of existing clients to ensure profitable growth against set targets.
This will include identifying and securing new clients; service expansion and 100% contract retention of assigned portfolio of existing clients.
The business mix for this role will include 20-30% account management and 70% new business focus. Clients may include banks and financial service organisations, publishers, education and charities.
The Person
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate initiative, creativity and drive and have excellent communication and presentation skills.
This is a relatively new and growing team with a dynamic approach to business generation.
We are looking for someone with relevant industry experience who is able to pro-actively prospect for business and use their first-class networking skills to build a portfolio of customers.
You will be securing large value orders with corporate customers and should be able to evidence success in solution selling. As a true “hunter”, the ideal candidate will be focussed on securing and growing business and meeting monthly revenue targets.

Qualifications and Experience
•A level standard (or equivalent) education
•Has experience of selling solutions
•Possesses experience selling services/outsourcing solutions with long sales cycles to Blue chip organisations.
•Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales target
•Experience of negotiation at board level
•Possesses experience of making high value sales of between £100,000 & £ 1,000,000
•Demonstrates ability to research businesses and sales opportunities.
•Computer Literate
•Strong planning and time management skills
•Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
•Demonstrates a strong concern for order and attention to detail
•UK driving license with maximum of 6 points.
