My Client is a leading national name in the Waste Management Sector. They are currently growing significantly, despite the economic climate, and have recently won 3 significant and prestigious multi million pound contracts on a National basis to compliment their existing client portfolio.
They are currently looking to employ a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for Major Account Development. The region that you will be responsible for will be dependant on the location of the successful applicant within reason - ideally somewhere within the central core of the country (London to Leeds).
Your Client base will be wide and varied due to the broad spectrum of Waste Management Services that the Company provide. Any knowledge of the Construction Market would be very beneficial though due to certain current focuses within the Business.
You will be responsible for managing key accounts and developing these accounts across this region.
THE PERSON:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the Waste Management Industry. Ideally you will be a Key Account Manager, Business Development Manager, Area Sales Manager or Sales Executive currently/recently with a National Waste Management Company or a Regional Waste Management Business.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong Business Development skills along with the ability to negotiate at a senior level with proven experience in the Waste Management industry.
