Training Manager – Call Centre Sales

£26,000 basic - £30,000 OTE

As a small but increasingly successful provider of outsourced call centre services, our client is building an enviable reputation based on their ability to design and deliver highly bespoke sales (outbound and inbound) and service solutions into a growing number of industry verticals. Due to their continued success they are looking for a Training Manager to strengthen and support their management team in their call centre in Birchwood, Warrington.

Whilst not the largest provider of outsourced call centre services in the North West, our client is investing in a growth plan that will see them more than double in size over the next 12 months. With a track record of campaign delivery within the Utilities and Telecoms sector, they have a solid base to build upon – both within these sectors and within new markets such as Financial Services.

Central to their growth objectives is the role of Training Manager which will have overall responsibility for the design and delivery of campaign specific training programmes – predominantly focusing on outbound and inbound sales activity. An integral aspect of this position is the definition of training requirements which will take place on client site in order to ensure that each campaign is tailored to meet those requirements. In addition, the Training Manager will also have some sales management responsibilities across certain campaigns – working with different teams to ensure that campaign performance is optimised in real time. This will involve coaching in a ‘live’ sales environment to ensure the skills covered in training are enhanced on an ongoing basis.

To succeed in this position it is essential that you are a highly capable Trainer with experience of not only delivering sales training, but designing training programmes that address specific issues. Critically, you will be experienced in defining training requirements and will have the confidence to work with clients in their offices to ensure your training programmes address their needs. It goes without saying that you will be a confident and articulate communicator and have strong PC skills.

Unusually for a training role, it is highly desirable that you have some Sales Management experience as our client is keen for you to have the capability of working with the sales management team to drive real time sales performance.
