A leader in research and training is looking to hire a Key Account Manager to join their growing team. The company is a leading organisation that provides senior internal communicators access to independent research and executive education.

The Key Account Manager must have previous experience in executive level sales and proven negotiation skills, with personal drive, ambition, integrity and performance demonstrated by a history of meeting personal financial targets. The ability to form relationships, quickly build credibility and work well as part of a global team are keys to success in this role. This is a dynamic role which will involve international travel.

Responsibilities Include:
• Meet individual targets through new business sales and renewal of existing accounts
• Develop potential business in a regional territory
• Generate leads through professional networking and cold-call techniques
• Create customised account plans, outlining service delivery and revenue growth strategies
• Work with fellow Key Account Managers on developing strategies for member engagement and service resolution where member concerns may arise
• Sustain long-term relationships with members

Qualifications Sought:
• At least 3 years sales and account management experience, ideally in similar industry
• Degree
• Exposure selling an intellectual service to C-level executives
• Solid understanding of business concepts & dynamics for large national and international corporations
• Excellent presentation, communication and writing skills
• History of meeting personal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial targets
• Good time management and excellent organisation skills
