We now have a unique career opportunity for a talented Salesc Director to lead and direct our Cloud Sales Division .

Responsibilities will include;

· Securing profitable contracts in Cloud Enterprise Managed Services, Hosting etc... from new and existing customers.

· Defining and developing our growing range of propositions .

· Working with general sales teams to ensure they have all pricing, collateral sales support to drive and deliver Cloud sales .

· Provide and allocate relevant technical design and pricing to and for the opportunities brought in by the sales force .

· To build an effective sales and technical ?Cloud ?team ? involving recruitment and retention of personnel.

· To manage and direct an initial team of 10 ? 3 Sales, 6 Technical / Solution Architects and 1 Marketing Executive .

· To drive sales from direct new business activity and via the customer base of SCC commercial and public sector divisions.

· Establish and qualify pipeline.

· Engage appropriate resources to develop technical requirements and solutions.

· Ensure smooth hand-off from sales/pre-sales to appropriate project management/service delivery.

· To work within SCC?s accepted standards and policies regarding documentation, CRM, reporting etc.

The Cloud Practice General Manager will possess:

· Proven sales experience gained selling to enterprises ? 1000 plus users .

· Extensive experience around Cloud Enterprise Managed Services, Data Centre Services etc .

· Exposure to complimentary technologies e.g. Citrix, VMware, HP, IBM etc .

· Proven people management experience .

· Ability to strategise and implement tactics to achieve said strategy.

· Ability to drive through change .

· Demonstrable understanding of the IT industry, customer demands and business panorama .

· Charismatic personality and leadership skills .

· Fundamental understanding of marketing .

· Good experience of recruiting, mentoring, developing and retaining of staff.

· A passion for Cloud Solutions and Services
