The Company

My client is a leading nationwide, family run business in the facilities management industry with regional offices spread throughout the UK. They provide a range of hard and soft services.

They require a driven, hard-working Business Development Manager to join their already very successful team. The Role

You will be required to build relationships with clients in order to bring in new business. You will receive the support of a telesales function and existing database of clients but is is important you can increase this. You will need knowledge and experience of the bid and tendering process and will be expected to achieve £1million in new business sales in your first year.

The Person

My client is looking for someone with experience in the contract cleaning or wider FM industry. It is important you are a motivated individual who is hard working and reliable. You need to be able to work on your own and as part of a team. This role requires you can build strong relationships with clients so you can win new business then also retain it. For being proactive and increasing revenue you will be heavily rewarded with a basic salary and also a generous bonus scheme.

Experience/Skills Check-list

- Experience in sales in the Contract Cleaning and wider FM industry
- Proven track record in the industry
- Self motivated and able to manage one self
- Can prove they can hit the ground running
- Is comfortable with a high level of autonomy
