Internal Sales Engineer – £28-32k – Burton Upon Trent

Ref: 612JH15S: Internal Sales Engineer for Instrumentation Products £25-30k +Excellent Benefits and Training

• Sales Engineer / Proposals Engineer /Internal Sales Engineer required to join an international instrumentation business based out of Burton upon Trent
• The Sales Engineer will be required to look after internal sales enquiries and update and maintain the relevant databases including Sage. A background in Engineering or a strong technical knowledge would be advantageous.
• The ideal candidate will have experience of selling and the sales process in a commercial environment (not necessarily engineering)

The company are an international provider of instrumentation solutions to a wide range of engineering industries including Power Generation, Utilities, Petrochem and Pharmaceutical They have a strong reputation for a quality product and are experiencing impressive growth going into 2012. They also have a passion for developing their staff and are second to none when it comes to internal training.

Your Areas of Responsibility:

• You will provide support to the Sales Manager and the Sales executives.
• You will be responsible for compiling and analyzing all processes related to management information systems.
• You will answer queries and complaint by customers, following the standard operating procedure.
• You will make proposals and give technical clearance to business partners in the pre-contract-stage.
• You will prepare, schedule and organize meetings, events and appointments.
• You will prepare statistical reports for different departments as per their standard formats and handle information requests.
• You will transfer information to the head office and other area offices for coordination in the processes.
• You will prepare all documents required for registration with the companies in their vendor list.
