Working for a reputable IT organisation based in Braintree, we are recruiting an experienced Sales Manager who will be responsible for the sales of used IT equipment direct to SME and end user clients. This is a brand new role within the organisation and an exciting opportunity to establish yourself within a market leading organisation. As the Sales Manager, you will be required to support the product sales to SME and end user clients.

Role & Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development and implementation of a strategy to profitably sell large volumes of used IT product to SME and end user clients.
To develop a mechanism for the high level customer support of end users that serves to enhance the reputation of our client whilst maintaining profitability of product sold.
To interact with employee purchase schemes in the provision of suitable high quality product.
To be the consumer champion in our client's organisation , influencing policy and activity in favour of end user business.
Work closely with internal departments to ensure the smooth running of sales initiatives.
The development of a marketing strategy to support the growth in reuse end user computing.
Responsible for maintaining agreed service levels as specified with each individual client.
Ensure any staff under your responsibility have a clear understanding of relevant contractual obligations and ensure that they act accordingly
Take responsibility for the following areas of staff management for staff under your responsibility:Carry out recruitment interviews.

Timekeeping.
Absence - Sickness / Holiday.
Post Sickness Interview.
Company Dress Code.
Discipline.
Performance review.
Training.
Ensure that all activities or consistent with or enhance our 9001, 14001, 18001 and 27001 accreditationsPrevious experience in a Commercial role

Experience Required

Experience working within fast paced and targetted environments
Experience of Team Management / Leading a team
Strong Sales Experience / Business Development
