Job Title: Business Development Manager (Building Management Systems)
Location: Based in Egham Surrey but covering South East & London
Salary: Basic Salary between 30k-40k (depending on experience + bonus + car or car allowance + benefits
Our client is a company called ‘BAS’ (Building Automation Solutions), they are one of the leading BMS / Energy Management companies in the UK. They have a strong presence in the UK because of their high quality service and project delivery.

They are a rapidly growing and progressive company and are actively recruiting to add to their already successful company.
They are now looking a Business Development Manager for their Support Business.
This role has been designed to generate and sustain long terms business relationships with new customers by promoting our clients Support, Remote and Energy Services and implementing a strategy to achieve specific sales targets.
Our client is looking for somebody who is familiar with the technical aspects of what our client has to offer as well as being able to demonstrate the drive and initiative to seek out potential customers who will benefits for our client’s technical innovations and expertise.
This role is ideally suited to someone who has knowledge of the Facility Management industry as well as BMS experience / knowledge and who has some successful sales experience within in the building controls
Main Job Duties:
•Works independently to identify potential long-term recurring revenue opportunities
•Has the technical capability to prepare and present tailored OMI BASis+ concepts utilising our energy, condition based support, remote and Tridium technologies
•Identify customers who have a significant energy saving requirement and design packages that suit a multiyear approach to systematic energy reduction
•Work with the existing operational team to identify BASis+ renewal opportunities across the support order book and explore finance and leasing options, to enable customers to spread the cost and quickly realise the energy benefits
•Is able to successfully negotiate at all levels in order to develop and close identified opportunities whilst maintaining margin levels
•Is able to communicate effectively at all levels throughout each part of the sales process
•Maintains accurate and up-to-date forecasting and customer records within the CRM tool
•Utilises the CRM tool to plan and prioritise sales calls and opportunities.
Ideal candidates will have a background in BMS / Energy but our client can also consider people with a Sales / BDM background within HVAC, Fire, Security, Facilities Management.
