An Advertising / Media Sales Manager is sought to join a leading business-to-business media company.

The company publish magazines and produce exhibitions, conferences and websites, predominately serving the commercial marine sector. Established over 20 years ago, the company now has around 40 employees working on magazines and events with pan-European, or international readers and visitors.

Title: Advertising / Media Sales Manager
Location: Fareham, Hampshire
Salary: £22k - £28k plus commission, OTE £40k
Benefits: Stakeholder pension available, some foreign travel, excellent commission scheme

The Advertising / Media Sales Manager role will include the following responsibilities:
-Manage the sales team, motivating and developing as necessary
-Planning and carrying out sales activities so as to maintain and develop the client portfolio
-Achieving team and personal sales targets
-Advertisement production and page planning
-Contributing to editorial content

The ideal Advertising / Media Sales Manager candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
-Experience as a Sales Manager / Team Leader / Media Sales Manager or similar
-Substantial B2B sales experience
-Enthusiasm to motivate a team
-Self-motivation and flexibility
-Excellent communication skills

The Advertising / Media Sales Manager role will suit a self-motivated, driven individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The role will be office based, but will require some overseas travel.

You will be joining a vibrant, friendly sales team and offered the opportunity to work in a senior, cross-functional role.
