Sales Support Telemarketer
The Sales Support – Telemarketer will be responsible for carrying out a variety of cross divisional telemarketing campaigns through outbound calls to a variety of new, prospective and existing clients. The role will be targeted to generate an amount of qualified leads for the field sales teams.
Reporting to the Business Manager – PI, Industrial & Inside Sales:
Conduct telemarketing campaigns to generate ‘hot leads’ to pass onto the relevant divisional team;
Nurture leads until they are in a position to be passed onto the sales team or archive.
Qualification and mapping of agreed segments in support of divisional marketing efforts;
Source data on segments (from database, internet);
Amalgamate data in Excel for imports to database;
Generate enquiries and feed to reps/CRM team;
Update on progress of projects & generate a report at the end of each campaign;
Input data on to Company database;
Assist with creation of new projects.

Most suited to this role of Sales Support - Telemarketer would be someone with experience of making outbound sales calls to external B2B customers, ‘nurturing’ sales leads and be used to working towards and achieving set targets. Experience of Excel spreadsheets and using a CRM system to input data accurately would be invaluable.
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent, or at least 5 good GCSE or equivalent. Previous experience of liaising with lab managers, engineers, pharmaceutical technicians etc. would be ideal for this role.
