This is an opportunity to join one of the UK's largest regional newspaper publishers working as part of a national team taking a complete multi-media directory proposition to market in a wide geographical area.
Our online directory utilises the technology of our national partner, , to offer local SME's a great opportunity to advertise to our growing audience, across the Yorkshire and South Yorkshire region. When combined with coverage in our local newspaper, we've got Directory advertising covered!
It'll be your job to spread this message to SME's in the Services, Leisure and Health & Beauty sectors, large and small, across your patch achieving the aim of selling our multi-media directory solution.
Working smartly, you'll be a natural hunter and with high levels of activity being the norm you'll already be used to working in a structured sales environment.
You'll probably have experience working on an online directory with one of our competitors, and should have an online media, directory or SME sales background.

Key accountabilities / responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Sales Executive
You will enjoy considerable autonomy in this role running your own sales territory across the week and you'll join your nationwide colleagues in Sheffield (our digital HQ) once each week for appointment setting and sales meetings. There will be a very strong emphasis on new business generation - so with realistic performance targets, there is good earning potential in this role.
As a senior member of the team you will also be required to develop sales strategy and planning as the business develops.
*Proven field-based sales success - ideally in an online directory business.
*A drive to be in front of clients advising and closing sales, while also having the ability to get on the phone and source new business leads.
*Establish great relationships with key clients through face-to-face contact.
*Experience in territory planning, ensuring effective time management and business success.
*A hunger to reach and exceed targets.
*Excellent presentation skills
