Our client has an international reputation as one of Europe’s most respected manufacturers of aerospace components and is a major supplier to many of the leading names in the world of aerospace markets. They offer various engineering solutions, from individual precision machined components to complex pipe assemblies as used on the very latest aero engines.
They now have an exciting opportunity available for a highly ambitious and target driven Business Development Manager to join them.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head of Business Development to develop the market and create sales opportunities.

Within the role, you will assist with setting and executing the business development strategy and sales growth for our client, identifying and targeting new business opportunities and converting quotes into profitable and sustainable orders.

In order to be successful in this role, candidates must have extensive experience in the global aerospace industry coupled with a comprehensive network of contacts and market knowledge. You will have a good technical understanding of the requirements for mechanical components and preferably hold a mechanical engineering degree or equivalent. You will be commercially astute and have excellent negotiation and communication skills to allow you to form strong working relationships with both customers and colleagues.

Due to the nature of the role, you may be required to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
