The Company – Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Our client are part of one of the UK’s largest FMCG organisations supplying a vast range of Food Services, specialising in Food Supplies, as well as distribution and logistic services for clients.

The Roles – Area Sales Managers (ASMs)

As an Area Sales Manager you will proactively seek new business opportunities with new and existing clients, liaising with Restaurants / Bar / Pub Owners. You will be booking appointments, developing relationships with new and existing clients and offering a consultative approach to the sales process.

This role promises to be a great start to a successful career in sales, with lots of scope for career progression within the company and you will receive continuous training and development. You would be extensively trained on the food industry and you will also benefit from full sales training.

For this field sales opportunity we are looking for the following criteria to be met:

• Essential - Educated to degree level
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good presentation skills
• Demonstrate self motivation with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Full UK driving license
• The ability to work to deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills
• Enthusiasm for account management
