Our client is an established manufacturing company in a niche and growing sector. They now have a rare and exciting opening for a General Manager to be base in Rotherham.

As General Manager, your prime responsibility will be to develop new business for the company to ensure that our client grows and prospers into the future. You will have full Profit & Loss accountability ensuring that operations are profitable, legal, and sustainable long term. You will promote brand values internally and externally, oversee the operational process of the company and take charge of recruiting and retaining good staff to aid development. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a senior managerial position, preferably in an agricultural / feed / biomass industry. You will have excellent communication skills at all levels, have a real passion for sales and business development, a recognised degree level qualification and the strategic vision to think holistically and long-term. You will also have a good understanding of all business functions including finance, marketing, operations and commercial.

The successful candidate can expect an initial base salary of 40k plus bonus plus further benefits.
