IT Sales Account Manager

York - Full time - Salary £20-25k OTE £40k + benefits

Our client, an IT Solutions company and who are in the top 100 small companies to work for, are looking for a talented IT Sales Account Manager to join their Head Office in York. The role is a fast paced, office-based sales account management role, responsible for managing and growing accounts.

Key tasks
• Deliver sales to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all accounts, working with and through the appropriate technical sales team where appropriate to develop new and existing lines of business within the specified accounts
• Identify & proactively maximise opportunities for sales growth
• Build a short, medium and long term sales pipeline of opportunities equal to the required level
• Forecast opportunities and sales progress each week to your Team Leader, identifying opportunities and time to close

You should have
• In-depth knowledge of licencing
• Knowledge of value based sales processes
• A broad understanding of IT
• Experience of analysing sales data accurately and quickly
• Good organisational and prioritisation
• Good sales techniques
• High levels of account management and transactional activity
