Job Title: Account Manager (BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS)
Location: Covering London, Herfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Essex Areas
Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience) + bonus + car or car allowance + benefits
Our client is a company called ‘BAS’ (Building Automation Solutions), they are one of the leading BMS / Energy Management companies in the UK. They have a strong presence in the UK because of their high quality service and project delivery.

They are a rapidly growing and progressive company and are actively recruiting to add to their already successful company.
They are now looking an Account Manager for their Support Business.
This is a commercial role designed to ensure that they grow their BMS support order book by developing strong working relationships within specific accounts and maximise Field Quote opportunities.
The Account Manager will look after a number of prestigious accounts across a range of sectors including Education, Pharmaceuticals, Forces, Arts, Finance, and Health.
Main Job Duties:
•Own the Contract renewal process for assigned accounts and work with support Co-ordinators to ensure the renewal processes starts at least 3 months prior to the contract end date
•Develop strong multi-tier client relationships in allocated accounts in order to maximise the sales opportunity in each account.
•Produce and work to detailed Account Plans in order for your line Manager and Directors to understand the Account Strategy
•Develop product Lifecycle plans in order to maximise the long-terms sales opportunity
•Quote for contract Uplifts, New Sites, New Services and Field Quotes
•Ensure accurate Sales Funnel Management in line with published guidelines
•Work with the Operations Managers to establish the correct labour and skill requirements for engineers
•Provide appropriate sales coaching to the Operations Managers and Support Engineers in order to maximise opportunities with existing clients
•Liaise with Service Sales Engineers to ensure smooth transition of new contracts into Account contracts
•Work with the Projects Team to increase opportunities with clients
This role is ideally suited to someone who has a BMS background and who can demonstrate strong customer service skills. Commercial awareness is also a necessity given the financial targets that will need to be achieved.
