Business Development Manager (Engineering)

My client are a leading UK supplier of sub-contract laser cut components and profiles using the latest CNC laser cutting machines and cad-cad programming software. Working in a wide variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials offering an alternative to punching, plasma and flame cutting with a nationwide delivery service available on fast lead times.

The company are now looking to expand on their existing sales force and employ an experienced Sales / Business Development Manager to win new contracts and maximise spend on existing accounts.

Duties:

• Generating own leads via cold calling into company or via telephone
• Managing own time / diary
• Booking appointments with new and existing clients to discuss requirements
• Account managing individual clients to ensure maximum profit
• Liaising with suppliers
• Keeping detailed records of client requirements
• Presenting full product range to new clients on initial visit
• Producing weekly / monthly reports on activities to the Managing Direct
• Other duties maybe required as outlined by the MD
