One of the foremost Creative Media Insight & Direct Marketing organisations in the UK seek to appoint highly talented Media Planner / Buyer to develop & manage their emerging offline media campaigns division for their key Clients in a diversity of market sectors.
You will have overall responsibility for driving and managing revenue via offline channels (i.e. national press, loose inserts, door drops etc) and be fully accountable for the channel’s performance, so we seek an experienced and knowledgeable media planner / buyer who is disciplined yet entrepreneurial, a talented leader and an active team player who seeks an opportunity where their experience & opinion will be valued, their talent rewarded and their career enhanced.
In conjunction with the senior management team, you will develop an overall strategy to acquire/develop profitable Client accounts, negotiating, planning and deploying offline campaigns with external partners, leveraging existing relationships and your own established network. You will identify, recruit and negotiate with new partners and use in-house creative resources to optimize creative materials, develop innovative direct response concepts and ensure branding guidelines, whilst improving direct response and customer acquisition metrics.
You will ensure that rapid testing and learning are executed within the channel to promote incremental growth and critical breakthroughs and your success will be easily measured against monthly and quarterly targets representing a continuous level of sales growth and also the long term strategic development of the channels.
Role Requirements:
•Demonstrable experience & delivery of Client value in a Media Planner/Buyer role
•Demonstrable offline marketing experience; specifically within the UK market (Ideally direct mail, 3rd party advertising or national press))
•Established network of contacts within media agencies and/ or owners
•Exceptional communication and negotiation skills applied to media buying.
•Target, data, results driven, detail oriented and precise
•Solid organizational, analytical, problem solving and project co-ordination skills.
•Excellent interpersonal skills, high energy, and enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment
