MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVES
MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVES – BASIC £20000 - £25000 + COMMISSION – HARROGATE
This independent publishing and events business is looking to recruit Media Sales Executives to join its talented team. The business works primarily in professional service and HNW sectors for a range of institutions and membership bodies, providing a range of services including publishing, marketing, creative design, event management and sponsorship. The company represents a number of prestigious clients and also produces its own media products.
Excellent sales people are now required to sell print advertising, event sponsorship and other assets across the company’s key portfolios. To be successful, you will be comfortable building new relationships and communicating with senior decision makers. You will also be hard working, enthusiastic, self motivated, well presented and professional. Media sales experience would be beneficial but is not essential
This is an ideal firm for a motivated salesperson, with commercial insight and understanding, looking to develop their career and make a real impact on some important accounts.
MAIN DUTIES – MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVE
The successful applicants will be required to sell advertising and sponsorship to both new and existing clients. Specific responsibilities will include:
Researching leads;
Planning call schedules and preparing sales scripts;
Working to agreed call times and sales targets (predominantly telesales);
Issuing media packs and quotations;
Undertaking client negotiation;
Updating the company CRM system;
Maintaining excellent levels of customer service.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE – MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVE
The successful applicants will have the following skills and experience:
Previous experience of B2B telesales (preferably selling services, advertising or sponsorship);
A track record of closing sales by telephone and meeting/exceeding targets;
Excellent communication and persuasion skills with experience of negotiating at senior level;
Enthusiasm for the job;
Ability to work well within a team;
Good listening skills with the ability to create bespoke solutions for clients;
Well presented and professional
Commercial acumen
