Job Description
Analysis of structures in radiological environment. We have opportunities for both lead and junior roles.
Requirements
Phd /degree/qualifications in Material science, Engineering, Nuclear physics or other similar discipline.
Experience or strong interest in one or more of the following:
„X High-Temperature Fracture
„X Creep
„X Residual Stress
„X Super-Alloys
„X Concrete
„X Graphite
Essential Skills
Understanding of the application of material science to real world problems.
Person Specification
We are seeking well-qualified (eg. PhD) and experienced materials science specialists in developing our specialist materials science function.
Additional Information
Ability to use generally available technical software analysis packages (Matlab, Mathcad etc) as well as ability to quickly become familiar with use industry-specific packages.
To be considered for this position you must be eligible to obtain British security clearance; this means you must have been in the UK for at least 3 of the last 5 years, or if a British citizen working abroad it must have been with a company registered in the UK.
