Description		An international Biotechnology & Bioinformatics Company is currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst. This organisation focuses on the convergence between food, pharmaceutical and clinical genomics leading to preventive personalised medicine. My Client is actively looking for a Business Analyst and future Business Development Manager. You will be based at our European head office in Cambridge, UK and will help drive forward business development and related activities: identifying and securing partners for products and technology developed by the company will be a high priority objective for this position. As Business Analyst you will be responsible for securing strategic product development and commercialization partnerships in the context of obtaining structured and long-term revenue to support and sustain R&D/commercial programs. Other areas of responsibility include conducting competitive intelligence and participating in strategic planning for the company. Experience & Qualifications - BSc or higher in Biological Sciences or a related discipline - A strong scientific/technical background is essential in any of the following areas: population genetics, cell and molecular biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical research and development, molecular diagnostics, vaccine technologies, stem cells. - Ability to work in a team and independently, a can do attitude, selfmotivation, professionalism, excellent writing skills, computer literacy, good organisation and communication skills (multi-lingual candidates appreciated). - Business development experience is preferred (not essential) - Valid driving licence, car owner preferred.
