Description		German Speaking Technical Support Specialist - Cambridge, UK Skills/Experience: Technical Support/Antibodies/Life Sciences Grad./PhD/Immunoprecipitation/Immunochemistry/cytochemistry/ELISA/FACS Bilingual German/English, English/German Abcam is a rapidly growing business, specialising in the production and sale of antibodies and related products. We are a web-based business, with offices in Cambridge, UK, Cambridge, USA and Tokyo, Japan. To support our continued expansion the Technical Support Team are looking for a German Speaking Technical Support Specialist. You will join a team responsible for providing technical support to Abcam's customers, by using technical knowledge and personal experience of working with antibodies and problem solving skills to resolve product and application queries. The role involves communicating with German and English speaking researchers by telephone and email. The role provides the opportunity to work with representatives from Marketing to promote our products in German speaking countries. The ideal applicant will have experience of working in a laboratory with antibodies and reagent products and possess knowledge and experience of two or more of the following applications: Western Blotting, Immunoprecipitation, immunohistochemistry/cytochemistry, ELISA, and FACS. You will have at least a degree in Life Sciences and be fluent in German and English. The role would be ideal for a recent PhD graduate though this is not essential. You will have an outgoing personality, be proactive and enjoy solving problems. The ability to interact with a wide variety of professionals and have a good eye for detail is essential.
