Description		Laboratory Technician Cambridge, UK Abcam is a rapidly growing business, specialising in the production and sale of antibody research reagents. We are a web-based business, with offices in Cambridge, UK, Cambridge, USA and Tokyo, Japan. To support our continued expansion, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician within our Product Development and Manufacture facility. Working closely with the Imaging Scientists, the Laboratory Technician will be responsible for performing immunofluorescense and immunohistochemical staining techniques, specimen preparation, ordering and making up reagents, and any other tasks that are deemed necessary in order to facilitate the smooth operation of the Imaging Lab. Full training will be given. To qualify for Laboratory Technician, you will be educated to at least A-level standard, with two of your subjects being in biology and chemistry. Practical and theoretical knowledge of antibodies and antibody-based laboratory techniques would be desirable. You will have exceptional communication skills and strong interpersonal and team-working skills. You must have a customer focussed approach to your work. Salary: GBP19000 - GBP21000 (dependant on experience) an attractive flexible benefits package which includes a profit-share scheme and share options. Laboratory Technician Cambridge, UK
