Description		Our client, a major dairy processor requires an experienced QA Technical Manager for their site in Peterborough asap. Our client has a modern manufacturing factory located in Peterborough. The site which has an annual turnover of �35M manufactures a comprehensive range of fresh and cultured bulk dairy products for the food industry and flavoured milks for the major retailers. Reporting direct to the Site Manager you will, through your technical support team be responsible for managing all quality assurance aspects of this diverse factory to ensure compliance with all legal, customer and Company technical standards. Other key responsibilities will include: maintenance and implementation of the Company's food hygiene policy, Quality and HACCP systems and procedures managing product quality and safety from receipt of raw materials to finished goods leading and managing Customer technical and EHO audits maintaining BRC and laboratory accreditations and analysing and reporting on quality data/trends The successful candidate will have experience and a proven record in quality assurance and management within a dairy or chilled food sector. Educated to Degree or HND level in Food Science you must be capable of working on your own initiative, be able to communicate effectively and be structured and organized in your approach to achieving continuous quality improvements. Exposure to BRC/ISO systems, major multiples and enforcement authorities is desirable.
