Description LNMA12604 – Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

A successful biotechnology company based in Cheshire are looking to recruit a senior member into the quality assurance team.
The role initially is a 6 month temporary contract but could hold further opportunities for the right candidate.

The role –

· Works under the QA Manager and keeps up to date with products, processes and the business
· Work closely with other departments to support, develop and promote consistency, continuous improvement and compliance with global / site quality and business requirements
· Identifies and drives improvement opportunities and ensures where quality issues arise that the cause is determined and appropriate actions are agreed and implemented
· Performs internal and supplier audits and uses auditing as a proactive tool for improvement
· Responsible for the measuring and monitoring of performance against KPI’s
· Contributes to the success of the QA team and site
· Acts as QA representative on projects including New Product Introductions

The candidate –

· Degree (or equivalent) in a science based discipline
· Good knowledge and experience of quality management systems and their operation (including CAPA and problem solving)
· Experienced auditor
· Proven experience within a Quality Assurance / Auditing role within a chemical / biological manufacturing industry
· Experience of validation and statistics based management preferred
