Registered Learning Disabilities Nurse required within this purpose built nursing home located in Chesterfield.

THE ROLE
A new role has arisen within a medium sized nursing home caring for service users who suffer with challenging behaviour, profound and multiple learning disabilities.

An experienced and qualified RNLD is required to join their team to initially be involved in creating and maintaining an environment in which all residents receive a high standard of care.

THE CANDIDATE
As an enthusiastic and qualified Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills you will have the following attributes:

• Possess a flexible approach to your working hours and be able to complete alternated day/night shift patterns working on a rota basis as and when required.

• Have a valid NMC pin code

• Experience of working within specialist learning disability settings either as an RNLD or Support/Care worker.

• Have a self motivated attitude with the desire to thrive within this challenging but rewarding environment.

• Be fluent in English

• Have authorisation to work in the EEC

The successful candidate will work in accordance with the Codes of Professional Conduct as issued by the NMC and within the regulations set by Care Quality Commission.
