We are currently seeking a Nurse Manager/Deputy Manager for this mid-sized, well run residential care home based in Margate, Kent. The home offers care services to elderly clients, some of whom suffer with dementia or Alzheimer's.

The Nurse Manager assist the Home Manager with the general running of the home, and duties will include assessing residents, implementing care plans, and preparing activities programmes, amongst other things. You will also be responsible for managing the nursing and care staff within the home to ensure clients receive the best possible service.

The ideal candidates will be a registered nurse (RMN or RGN) with experience working in a residential care environment in a managerial or supervisory capacity. You will naturally have great communication and leadership skills as well as a sound knowledge of essential procedures and legislation.

The salary on offer for this position is £26000 to £30000.

This role is based in Margate, Kent, and is commutable from Herne Bay, Ramsgate and Canterbury.
