Permanent Senior Sister required within an elderly nursing home located in Stratford – upon – Avon, Warwickshire.

THE ROLE
A new role has arisen for a Senior Sister – Registered General Nurse Band 6 within a medium sized nursing home caring for the elderly frail, elderly with dementia and for adults with a physical disability.

This is a permanent full time position offering approximately 32.5 hours per week based on rotational shifts patterns. If required, an increase on hours is available for the successful candidate.

THE CANDIDATE
As an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse who is qualified to Band 6 status you will have the following attributes:

•Possess a flexible approach to your working hours and be able to complete alternated day/night shift patterns working on a rota basis as and when required.

•Have a valid NMC pin code

•A minimum of 3 year's experience of working within an elderly nursing home setting as a Registered Nurse and qualified to Bad 6 status

•Have a self motivated attitude with the desire to thrive within this challenging but rewarding environment

•Have good verbal communication skills

•Have excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to supervise junior members of staff

•Have authorisation to work in the EEC

The successful candidate will work in accordance with the Codes of Professional Conduct as issued by the NMC and within the regulations set by Care Quality Commission.
