Based at the production site in Bordon/London, UK. The site includes manufacturing, packaging, release and logistics activities. Bordon/London, UK is the European release and launch site for oncology. The manager’s role and responsibilities include:

• Lead and further develop all quality assurance and quality control activities for Europe
• Manage the quality assurance network with external contract manufacturer and laboratories
• Review and release products for the European market
• Support technology transfers
• Host external audits and work with governmental agencies in UK
• Cooperate with Fresenius’s corporate QA network
• Lead and develop direct reports

Requirements:

• Qualified pharmacists or comparable degree
• Qualification as QP desired
• At least 5 years relevant experience in the health care industry, in operations, quality assurance or quality control
• Experience in i.V. products or oncology desired
• Interest in process oriented quality assurance and regulatory affairs
• Excellent English language skills
• Highly motivated and self starter with good interpersonal skills
• Excellent priority setting and risk taking
• Hands on mentality
