Medeeca Dental are urgently seeking a Dental Nurse to join our Clients busy dental practice in Caerphilly.

Our Clients have always invested in the latest and most advanced dental technology. All their surgeries are distinctively decorated and well equipped with the latest dental equipment to ensure complete relaxation and exceptional care to their patients. Their clinical teams are committed to continuing education programmes in order to keep up to date with techniques and materials to provide their patients with the treatment and services they desire.
This is a part time temporary position, working Tuesday-Friday (29.25 hrs) per week. Candidates must be qualified and registered with the GDC with previous dental nursing experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chair side support for the dentist.
• Maintain dental surgery in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations, company policies and daily operations
• Preparing the Surgery for Dental Treatment and keeping it clean
• Excellent listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reception Work
• Must be enthusiastic, friendly and punctual.
• Disposal of both domestic and hazardous waste in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain practice computer records in relation to Data Protection and confidentiality, ensuring that patient information is entered accurately and efficiently.
• Use and maintain x-ray processing equipment, follow radiographic quality assurance procedures.
• To provide evidence of GDC registration and meet the required CPD verifiable hours.
• Taking Responsibility for Cross-Infection Standards in Your Surgery
• To provide evidence of vaccination status on request and maintain hepatitis B serology levels.
