In-Vitro Toxicity Research Scientists – North West

Our client is a large expanding CRO looking to fill a number of positions, from Research Scientists to Laboratory Supervisors, to join their organisation in the North West.

Your responsibilities will include:
· Development of in vitro toxicity facilities within the organisation
· Validation of existing and new cell based assays
· Troubleshooting of existing assays
· Performing toxicity based gene regulation studies
· Training and mentoring of personnel in the routine assays performed
· Preparation of SOP’s
· Supporting Business Development
· Management of data within the organisation

The ideal candidate will hold a minimum of a BSc within a scientific discipline or equivalent and will have knowledge of in vitro toxicity assays. Experience of cell based assays from either the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO company is advantageous although not essential.
