£24,000-£33,500 depending on experience
37.5 hr wk (days & nights)

Our Client is the leading independent mental health hospital in central London providing a range of specialist individually-tailored treatments for all mental health and emotional issues through inpatient, day care and outpatient services.

An opportunity exists for a qualified, motivated and skilled Charge Nurse (Registered Mental Health Nurse) to be part of the team providing clinical services within the Addictions Unit. You will have post qualification experience some of which should be in a supervisory role ideally as a Charge Nurse. Recent experience in substance misuse is essential as this is a pivotal role and there is an expectation of a sound knowledge base, as well as the routine nursing core skills.

The role requires flexibility and the ability to work days and nights.

The main responsibilities of the role are:
- To provide support to the day-to-day operational management of and clinical leadership to Ward/Area/Service ensuring the delivery of high quality nursing, effective customer care and efficient use of resources;
- To provide professional nursing input with patients; planning and implementing specific interventions with patients and families;
- To work with all nursing staff within substance misuse
