Our client is one of the UK's largest and renowned asbestos company having a presence across the UK and due to expansion of workload, they are currently looking for an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to cover prestigious contracts predominately in the North West area, although they would consider either/or an Asbestos Surveyor or an Asbestos Analyst.

The successful candidate must possess the BOHS P402. P403 and P404 certificates and must have previous relevant experience working within this role and within the asbestos arena.

The main responsibilities will involve:

Carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual 4 stage clearance and re-occupation and personal air-testing.

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site carrying out asbestos removal work and assisting senior surveyors.

Carrying out asbestos Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various buildings - commercial and industrial.

Providing accurate asbestos reports as and when required.

Developing good relationship with the company's portfolio of clients.

In general, you will an all-rounder, flexible, have good communication skills, both written and verbal, have good knowledge of the Health and Safety legislation and have the ability to work on own initiative.
