This reputable asbestos consultancy that has a nationwide presence and provides high quality advice and services to clients is actively looking to employ an Asbestos Surveyor/Analyst to cover a mixed bag of contracts in and around the Essex area. Ideally, they are looking for an individual who is capable of using their skills in both areas - asbestos surveying and asbestos -air-testing.

The applicant must possess the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 asbestos certificates and must have previous practical experience in asbestos surveying and asbestos air-monitoring and air-testing within the asbestos arena.

The main duties will encompass:

Carrying out asbestos smoke, background, leak, reassurance, visual 4 stage clearance and re-occupation and personal air-testing.

Overseeing asbestos contractors on site and ensuring that they adhere to the Health and Safety legislation in relation to asbestos.

Carrying out asbestos Management and Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on commercial and industrial properties.

Providing accurate asbestos reports and information as and when required.

Liaising with the company's portfolio of clients.

In general, you will an all-rounder, flexible, have good work ethic, have the ability to communicate effectively and work unsupervised and as part of a team.
