Asbestos Operations Manager - Asbestos S301/CCP - South Wales

Our client is a leading and growing environmental consultancy specializing in asbestos management and environmental disciplines.

Due to on-growth of the business, they are currently looking for an astute and ambitious Asbestos Operations Manager to work for them in South Wales. This role is mainly office based.

The candidate must hold the S301/CCP or BOHS P401, P402, P403, P404 and P405 asbestos qualifications and must have previous operational/commercial/project management experience - a minimum of three years' experience within the asbestos arena.

The main responsibilities:

Ensuring contract operations are co-ordinated with clients and are efficiently carried out in accordance with site operations and company procedures.

Managing staff/consultants on site and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health and Safety procedures.

Producing method statements, risk assessment and associated site paperwork.

Assisting with tenders and quotations

Developing the team and managing the office.

Establishing and maintaining good relationship with the company's clients and developing new business leads.

Overall, you will have the ability to deliver on good commercial results, have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, have strong people management skills have the ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
