Clinical Project Physician - Oncology

An excellent opportunity has arisen within my clients (major pharma Co) Research & Development department for an Associate Director or Director, Oncology Clinical Project Physician.

THE CANDIDATE
The Clinical Project Physician Oncology is a responsible member of a clinical team in the biologics setting, dedicated to assist in the development and execution of medical strategies and the clinical and operational implementation of a complex compound program.

Fully GMC registered physician, with clinical experience in a Hospital setting, preferably a Haematology/Oncology unit. Extensive professional experience required with clinical research, industry principles of drug development, bio statistics, and clinical trial methodology. Experience in working with biologics an advantage. Outstanding oral and written communication skills (including report development) are essential. Success working in a team-orientated, matrix environment is a strong plus. A person with strong energy, enthusiasm and ability to function independently is essential for this role. This person must have the ability to work well within a cross-cultural team setting. Travel Required - up to 25% yearly (International as well as Domestic).
