Up to £26,500 pro rata

As a multi skilled Theatre Practitioner, you will be providing quality planned care for patients during their peri operative phase of care and support the management team within the operating department.
Part of your role will include:
Contributing to quality improvement
Working to best practice at all times
Assemble, check and prepare all equipment and drugs for a wide range of operations
Coordinate the use of supplies during the operating list
Carry out mandatory patient and surgical checks
Assist the anaesthetist in monitoring the patients condition throughout the procedure
Administer drugs and fluids when necessary
Order, receive and check stock items
Comply with all infection control policies
You will need to be a Registered Practitioner with NMC or HPC registration, have an approved/recognised anaesthetics course, have fantastic communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
Ideally you will also have ENB 998 and or a mentorship course and or D32/33/A1 plus ILS, ALS and an external Advanced Scrub Practitioner Course.
There is an on call commitment with this job so you must be prepared to be flexible with your working hours.
