Lead Social Worker

Vacancies are currently available with this not for profit charity who aim to be the UK's leading independent provider of specialist mental health care, complementing and working in partnership with the NHS.

They offer specialist services for men, women, adolescents and older people across mental health, learning disabilities, brain injury and degenerative disorders such as Huntingtons and Alzeimer's. Putting Service Users' needs at the heart of everything they do and having built an innovative culture of clinical expertise.

They currently have an opportunity for a Lead Social Worker to work alongside their small but friendly Social Work team. As a highly valued member of this multi-disciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessment and treatment interventions which will involve individual, group, and family work. The successful candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills, and be in receipt of the Diploma in Social Work or equivalent and be familiar with Mental Health Legislation including the Care Programme Approach and /or Child Care legislation, as both apply to this user group. Ideally you should have previous experience in a related field. Previous experience in Criminal Justice would be an advantage.
